And So It Begins, Again - 08/27/14
My wife and I have two children, a boy and a girl. Our oldest is a freshman in college and our youngest (son) just started kindergarten. They are just over 12-years apart.
We moved our daughter into her dorm room over the weekend. She's doing great. Little man started school a few weeks ago. Today I went and had lunch with him at school for the first time. It's been a long time since I had lunch at an elementary school.
Our daughter is a tremendous student. I can't help but wonder how her brother will navigate the next 13-years until he graduates high school. Right now I know this: he loves sports, is excited four people can get in the tree house in his classroom and eats just about everything his mom packs him for lunch.
I think it's a foundation we can build on.
