LOS ANGELES, California - The doctor convicted of causing pop star Michael Jackson's death is a free man. The Los Angeles County Jail released Dr. Conrad Murray just after midnight. Murray protestors and Jackson fans set up a vigil outside the jail. Murray served 2 years of a 4-year sentence for Involuntary Manslaughter. California prison rules require extra credit for time served in some cases. A jury in 2011 found Murray guilty of giving Jackson a fatal dose of the pain killer Propofol at his home in California.
