LOS ANGELES, California - American Idol Season 13 continues with another round of auditions, tonight landing in Detroit. As different contestants audition, one thing remains constant: the judges. American Idol fans may find it hard to forget the drama of Season 12 between judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, but this season, Idol judges say fighting is a thing of the past. The future of American Idol is all about the music. It's a tight knit panel of judges for Season 13 of American Idol. The good times roll with returning judges Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez, along with new addition Harry Connick, Jr. After sitting down with the trio in L.A., the judges tell us there are plenty of silly antics and fun this season.
This year, the panel says you won't find any fighting. Feuds between Season 12 judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey were constant, like in the TMZ video taken while the pair lashed out at one another during an audition. The judges say this season's atmosphere is much lighter. Season 13 auditions continue tomorrow night in Atlanta.
