New this morning, one out of every four selfies is altered to make the person in the picture look better.
But that wasn't enough for a New York woman, who opted out of photoshop, and had surgery instead.
While skiing in Maine, Laura took a selfie and didn't like what she saw. So she tried over the counter creams and coverups. She says it got to a point where all she do was edit pictures.
Laura went to a doctor who suggested Blepharoplasty, surgery that reduces bagginess from the lower eyelids and removes excess skin.
The outpatient procedure removed the bans and transferred fat from her thigh to under her eyelids to fill out the hollows.
Laura says she doesn't want to look 20 again, but she's glad she looks the best she can.
