A woman has identified herself as the person caught on camera taking a stuffed toy from a toddler's grave.

person caught on camera taking a stuffed toy from the grave of a baby in
a Richland County cemetery.
Frieda Kay Shade told Ontario police
she removed the toy from the grave of 14-month-old Hayden "Tank" Cole
Sheridan on April 19 to protect it from a dog that was roaming Mansfield
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Shade identified herself to police
hours after they posted a video to their Facebook page that showed the
alleged theft of the toy. The post was shared hundreds-of-thousands of

Hayden's parents reported that several items, including toys and solar
night lights, had been stolen from their son's grave since his 2007
Authorities have charged Shade with petty theft. She is scheduled to appear in court on May 15.
