NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Three of four men are in Davidson County Jail for attempting to rob four teenagers.
The four male victims, ages 15-17, met suspect, 18-year-old Khamis Yugusuk, on July 24 after he called to purchase a firearm from one of the victims, according to the Metro police affidavit. The victims were directed down a trail into the woods at Whitfield Park on Edmondson Pike in south Nashville.
A man armed with a semi-automatic handgun and masked with a bandana came out of the woods and told the victim to empty their pockets, say police. Two of the victims didn't comply when they recognized the voice of one of the suspects. The victims ran away when they saw the suspects drive off.
The other suspects arrested Wednesday night are 18-year-old Opito Otim, AKA "Apedo" and 20-year-old Dominique Wade, AKA "Dee Wade." Suspect Adrian Castillo is still on the loose. Yugusuk and Otim is in jail on $200,000 bond, while Yugusuk is incarcerated on $300,000 bond.
