Bullets Hit Madison Home with Eight Children Inside

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Eight children are inside a Madison home overnight when it's shot up.
Metro police found that more than a half-dozen bullets hit a house at the 3500 block of Chesapeake Drive at 1:30 a.m. Thursday. No injuries are reported to either of the two adults, or to any of the children who range in age from infant to 9-years-old.
Four adults were home at the 3200 block of Moorewood Drive in Madison when at least three bullets hit their house also at 1:30 a.m. Police say one bullet made entry into the house. No injuries are reported in this incident, as well.
A third house is reported and found shot up at 1:30 a.m., this time in east Nashville. The house at the1000 block of Seymour Avenue has seven bullet holes, police say. No one is reported injured.
Police are examining shell casings found and investigating to see if any of the scenes are related.
