Nashville, Tenn.-- Facebook's autoplay feature is being blamed for boosting data plan bills for sending data usage over limits.
The consumer finance website moneysavingexpert.com first pointed out the problem, but there is a simple solution to the issue. All users have to do is change the default setting in the Facebook app to stop the auto streaming function. First you go to your phone's settings and then select the Facebook App icon. Once there, select "Settings" then put Auto-Play either on Wi-Fi Only or on Off.
