Murfreesboro, TN - The passion and determination of a 15-year old boy from Franklin.
Hunter Garstin is on his way to walking again.
The high schooler was injured in a wrestling match in December, paralyzed from the neck down.
Each step Hunter takes brings him closer to full mobility again.
The 15-year old spends hours at a time in water therapy at H3O Aquatics in Murfreesboro.
Though almost 6 and a half months since his neck was dislocated in a wrestling match, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down, he's regaining upper mobility and continues to move forward.
A fundraising campaign helps maintain the momentum.
The family is just $4,000 shy of a $23,000 goal, which will help purchase an FES bicycle.
It's part of an effort to expose him to as many different therapies as possible-- and it's working one step at a time.
Hunter says hope is what keeps him hanging on--
