Domestic violence charges against a Nashville contractor are headed to a Davidson County Grand Jury. On Thursday, David Chase waived his right to a preliminary hearing. He's accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. While many domestic violence suspects are held for 12 hours, a judge allowed chase to post bond after just 3 hours and he allegedly attacked the victim a second time. His attorney says Chase is being unfairly portrayed by the Media. A temporary order of protection against Chase was extended for 90 days. He will also continue wearing alcohol and GPS monitoring devices while free on bond.
