NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man is tasered while holding a child in 4th of July traffic in Davidson County.
Police say 30-year-old Marvin Hayes caused a dangerous situation Friday night when he caused vehicles to have to move around him while he stood in the busy roadway outside his car. A woman inside the car was yelling for him to give her the child.
Hayes smelled of alcohol and looked disoriented, according to police. He gripped the child tightly, causing her pain and making her cry.
Officers tased Hayes when he resisted their attempts to take the child and put him in custody. He was booked into jail on $122,000 bond on eleven charges.
