NASHVILLE- You may soon be able to fly to more cities
non-stop out of Nashville. The Nashville International Airport Authority is
recruiting some of the area's top business and tourism leaders to try to make
that happen. This Thursday a hand selected group will meet in the first of
several meetings as part of a new air service coalition. Right now the
coalition is working to convince airlines to add new full time non-stop flights
to cities like San Francisco and Seattle. The group is also looking into
increasing service to Los Angeles. It's a move thought to bring California's
technology boom to Nashviile and increase business. Airlines at BNA currently
fly non-stop to fifty cities. The coalition is also working to add more
international flights as well.
