A new treatment offered by the Veterans Affairs is giving one local veteran a faster recovery. H3O Aquatics in Murfreesboro just got the green light to offer its therapy services, and Sean Hand is the first vet to receive treatment.

He sustained injuries in his knees and joints from working in the Navy for 10 years but says his health has been on the uptick after therapy in H3O's heated pools.

"It's taken a lot of the stress and strain off of my joints, and I still get a really good workout and stretching out," Hand said. "And when I come out, I feel so much better than when I walked in the door."

Hand says it's an easy and free process for veterans who use the VA.
