NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A methamphetamine ring is busted in east Nashville.
Six people are booked into jail Thursday night in a Metro police investigation involving more than a dozen packages containing ounces of meth being delivered to the home at the 1400 block of Kirkland Avenue, according to the affidavit. Arrested in connection are 44-year-old Gary Jackson, 46-year-old Peggy Dunbar, 52-year-old Edward Dunbar, 38-year-old Steven Brown, 40-year-old Shelia Lane and 45-year-old Kevin Owens.
Undercover police delivered a package with 26 grams of meth to the Dunbar's address yesterday. According to the report, 14-15 packages of meth, each containing a half ounce to an ounce, had been delivered to the Inglewood area home since December 2013.
Peggy Dunbar tells police that she would send money via Western Union to Las Vegas to purchase the drug which was sent overnight to her home. Her home is located across the street from East End Prep school.
