Robbery Victim in W. Nashville Gets Severe Road Burn After Dragged in Car by Suspects

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man trying to escape a car while being robbed in west Nashville is dragged.

The victim suffered serious injuries, including severe road rash on the entire right side of his body, after being dragged in a car along Annex Avenue and Thunderbird Lane on May 10. According to Metro police, 26-year-old Ricardo Quintero, and another suspect assaulted him and robbed him of $900 and a phone after they stopped the car.

The victim went to the Vanderbilt burn unit.

Quintero is being held on aggravated robbery charges. His bond is set at $100,000.
