If you were driving down I-40 in Wilson County Thursday around lunchtime you might have seen a very special sign. It was a message of hope.

Jim Gannaway left Thursday for the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas for intense treatment of his soft tissue sarcoma. When his co-workers at Budweiser found out, they staged banners on the overpasses as he headed to the airport.

Jim's family thanked them today and they ask that Nashville lift him up in their thoughts and prayers.

Statement from the family:
Jim is a fighter, and we know he can conquer this challenge. His family and friends ask that Nashville lift Jim up in thoughts and prayers. We look forward to having him home and supporting him on his road to recovery.
