JACKSON, Tenn.-- A 21-year-old Christian ministries major attending Union University has been charged with first-degree murder for the death of his fiancee Olivia Greenlee.
Grenlee, 21, who was also a student at Union and music education major, was found dead in her car last Wednesday. A gun was found in the vehicle and Grenlee's cause of death was determined to be by one-single gunshot wound.

After reviewing the evidence over the course of three days, police charged Charles Pittman with the murder of Grenlee. Pittman had proposed to her in May and the two planned to marry in August of this year. He also served as youth pastor of Providence Baptist Church.
Police say the gun found in the car belonged to a friend of Pittman, who had taken the gun without his knowledge. Pittman then killed his fiance but staged the scene to make it look like the act was a suicide.
Pittman is currently being held without bond.
