A 31-year-old Alabama man is behind bars following a month-long investigation by Indianapolis police involving the stalking, assault, harassment and exploitation of several teenage boys in three states.
According to the Indy Star, Danny Cherry used social media to exchange sexually explicit photos and messages with young boys. But unlike many sexual predators seeking graphic materials or sex, Cherry became extremely violent. Police says Cherry was not motivated by only sexual desire, but racial hatred towards Asian boys, who were the victims of his crimes.

The report states Cherry shot one boy's father in the face and fired shots into another boy's home in Indianapolis. He also threatened to kill a teen in Alabama and admitted to police he was the man who fired shots into a Nashville home back in August, hitting a teenager in the groin.
Cherry faces nearly 40 charges in Alabama and Indianapolis. Charges have not been filed by the victim for the incident in Nashville.
