Flu Watch
TBI Director, Mark Gwyn wants lawmakers to make drugs containing pseudo ephedrine available by prescription only. The drug is a key ingredient in cold and allergy medicines but its also used to make methamphetamine. Some state lawmakers like Representative Tony Shipley are reluctant to restrict the rights consumers. Currently drugs containing pseudoephedrine are kept behind the pharmacy counter and you have to show identification to purchase them. The house subcommittee on criminal justice will likely schedule another meeting to address the meth problem.

Flu Signs and Symptoms
According to the Centers for Disease Control, the flu usually comes on suddenly. People who have the flu often feel some or all of these symptoms:
FLU VS. COMMON COLD
Flu Symptoms (more intense than common cold):
- Fever
- Body aches
- Extreme tiredness
- Dry cough are more common and intense
- Chills
- HeadachesCommon
Cold Symptoms:
- Stuffy/runny nose
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Fever is rare
- Slight body aches
- Mild fatigue
