There are now 50 confirmed cases of Fungal Meningitis in the Volunteer State, resulting in 6 deaths. Nationwide, the CDC reports 185 patients battling the rare infection with 14 deaths. 12 states are dealing with cases, including Texas, which was just added today. All of those infected received steroid injections contaminated with mold.
