If you work downtown, or are just passing through, the downtown library's free concert series in the courtyard is back. First up, Grammy winners the 3 Tenors of Take 6. Concerts are every Tuesday starting August 16-October 11 at 11:45. Free downtown parking is also available.
If you're a man and you need a haircut, you can get a free bottle of American Crew shampoo at Dolce Vita on 6th Avenue downtown. The salon is giving this $14 bottle of shampoo away with every men's haircut all month long.
If you're battling cancer, you can get a free supply of make-up and free counseling sessions on ways to look good and feel better. Patients with all forms of cancer undergoing chemotherapy can participate. The seminar is Monday from 1-3 at the Vanderbilt Clinic. That's at 1301 Medical Center Drive in Nashville.
