First off, we want to let you know abou tan opportunity to get your hair done for Prom. Remington College's Nashville campus is offering free salon services including manicures, pedicures and makeup, also up do's for girls and haircuts for guys. Call 615.493.9390 for an appointment. Remington performed these free services for 750 high schoolers last year.
Then there's free jazz at the Frist. Denis Solee and friends will present "Jazz from the Early Days" April 22, with influences from New Orleans up to Chicago. The performance takes place that Sunday afternoon at the Frist auditorium.
If you're looking for a job, or have jobs to offer, mark your calendars for April 28. There's a free job fair at Cumberland University's Dallas Floyd Recreation Center in Lebanon. The job fair is free to businesses. Even tables and booths will be provided, and it's of course free to job seekers. Representative Diane Black is sponsoring it and the job fair runs from 9am-Noon that day.
