In tonight's Saving You Money report, what to do with your old phone, when it's time for an upgrade?
   If you're in need of some qick cash, don't throw it away...
   or like me, shove itin a drawer and forget about it.
  I talked  with the founder of Green Proof Your Home about the recycle for cash programs that are online sites like Gazelle.com, and Securetradein.com
  You simply go online, type in the device you're looking to sell and they'll let you know what it's worth.

Stacy Case says:   "I think when you look at some of these especially this droid that's cracked.. you may think it has no value.?" ..
Tara says:  "Yeah... but there are parts.. you've got the glass that's cracked.. but still the items and elements inside are still okay and probably can be reused  You know you're short on cash and you want to get something for it... these companies can do that for you... "
  
  For security reasons, you'll want to be sure to clear all of your contacts, pictures and any  personal information before you sell your phone or computer.
