Florida Georgia Line is still considered an "up and coming" country duo, but they are already celebrating a number one hit song!

"Cruise" climbed to the top of the charts back in December and spent several weeks there. A couple of the songs writers say it's juts one of those tunes you can't get out of your head, "It has an infections melody with a grammatically incorrect chorus which people love. The song is a  great song to start a career with new artists and a new band.
They didn't have a deal when recorded it. It's taken a life of it's own and progressed their careers" says Jesse Rice.

The guys, all the writers, industry executives and family members celebrated the career moment on Music Row Tuesday.

"It's been crazy to see this thing grow and build and literally from the stage you can see this happening it's super awesome" says band member Tyler Hubbard.
"It's been a cool process, didn't have a deal when written, it's come full circle really cool" says Brian Kelley.

Their second single "Get Your Shine On" is their second single and is quickly climbing the charts.
