TULLAHOMA, Tenn. - Family members are remembering a 34 year old Naval officer who was killed during a training flight this week. Lieutenant Commander Patterson was a graduate of the Naval Academy, and leaves behind a wife and 2 daughters.
"We're going to miss him, but we are so very proud of what he has done," says brother Phillip Patterson, Jr. "Some of us are not as fortunate to have a full life on Earth, but we accomplish a lot in that time, and I think he has."
Funeral arrangements for Alan Patterson have not been made, but a service will be held at the Naval Air Station in Washington next week.
