TBI's Most Wanted
Tonight, it's hoped you can help end the run of a Murfreesboro man with a long criminal history.
Jason Walz looks nice enough in his driver's license photo, but the TBI says in this case looks can be deceiving.
The TBI says Walz was among a half dozen suspects who kicked in the back door of an apartment on Northfield Boulevard in Murfreesboro in 2003 and throwing two Molotov cocktails inside. He was originally charged with aggravated arson because there was someone inside.
Kristin helm with the TBI says, He went to prison in 2003 after he pleaded guilty to the arson charge, spent a couple of years in prison and was paroled. And that's what he's wanted for now, violating his parole.
The TBI says a shoulder tattoo identifies Walz as a member of a gang called the Gangster Disciples.
It turns out it's one of a dozen tattoos Walz is sporting.
A tribute to Walzs grandmother on his forearm might also give him away. It's a cross with a rose, the date 3-13-98 and rest in peace.
Another tattoo that might catch your eye -- a hand holding the world -- a tribute to the final scene in the Scarface movie.
Jason Walz was born in august of 1971. He has brown hair, green eyes -- he's about 6-feet tall and 180-pounds.
If you see him, call 1-800-tbi-find.
The TBI says Walz might also be hiding just north of the state line in Kentucky tonight.
