TBI's Most Wanted
A lot of people dream of seeing their name on the marquee, but not like this. Robert Wayne Cooper's name and face are in wide circulation tonight because he's wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and the TBI.
In July, Cooper was charged with breaking into the Village Daycare on Highway 79 outside Clarksville. All the kids were gone but the break-in made an impression.
Cooper pleaded guilty and started serving his time but he wasn't in jail for long. He was just a couple of weeks into his year-long sentence here at the Montgomery County Workhouse in Clarksville when he walked off a work detail and disappeared.
