WZTV FOX 17 - Tennessee Mornings
The 5th annual Project Homeless Connect expo kicks off at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds Wednesday. The all-day event will help more than 1,500 homeless men, women, and families gain access to essential services to increase the quality of life.
Government agencies, non-profit organizations, and civic groups will all be on hand to provide everything from free medical check-ups, haircuts, food, and clothing, to employment opportunities, housing information, and veteran assistance programs.
The event is the largest annual homeless outreach program of its kind.
