WZTV FOX 17 - Tennessee Mornings
ANTIOCH, Tenn. - Right now, police are looking for 40 year old Donnell Simpson. He was last seen in the area of Forest Breeze Drive where he allegedly stabbed his wife. The crime scene tape is still up. She was taken to Vanderbilt and is expected to survive. Simpson was apparently on some sort of violent rampage because before going there, he went after his sister-in-law and stabbed her too. The sister-in-law was stabbed about 5 miles away off Melvin Jones Road. She was taken to Southern Hills Medical Center and is also expected to live. Police were still actively looking for Simpson at 5:30am Tuesday morning. Simpson is 40 years old, 6'2", 220lbs. and was last seen wearing glasses and a black hoodie. This looks like this was just an ugly family feud that ended in violent stabbings. Again, both victims, Simpson's wife and his sister-in-law, are expected to be okay. Police aren't releasing any kind of motive right now. We believe Simpson does have an extensive criminal history. If you know anything about Simpson's whereabouts, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 74-CRIME.
