Country Music's rising superstars Lady Antebellum cleaned up at award shows this year.
Their sophomore album just dropped and they've even picked up a Grammy nod. Lady A has made a big name for themselves in just two years, and the band is excited about their second CD, "Need You Now." Hillary Scott says, "It's very honest. We really were gave ourselves the freedom to really bear it all in a way and be vulnerable."
Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood's energetic sound has earned several Country Music Awards and a pair of Grammy nominations, and no one is more surprised than they are. Haywood says, "We dreamed of stuff like this happening but we feel very humble. It's happened, it has happened pretty quick for us and we don't take that lightly and we know there's a lot of people like Charles said that are behind us supporting us and a lot of people in the country industry too."
Haywood says, "When you look at the Grammy's, that's a recognition from the country industry for us to represent country music to the world, you know, so that's a big honor. We don't take it lightly, I mean it's been an incredible ride and we feel very blessed to have things and we truly really believe fate stepped in."
The new record, "Need You Now" is in stores now, and the band heads out on tour with Tim McGraw right after the Grammy's. Lady Antebellum-Stacy McCloud
