You have the opportunity to buy a piece of memorabilia from your favorite stars home. A huge celebrity estate sale is happening in Franklin this week.
Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow and Blair Garner are doing a little remodeling.
Instead of tossing, donating or selling their valuables, they are making them available to the public. They aren't free, but the money does go to a good cause.
If you're in the market for a Ralph Lauren dining room set, a custom green velvet sofa, kitchen cabinets, some antique toys, or maybe you're simply interested in owning something once used by your favorite star.
The historic empire home "Mapleshade" in Franklin is the place to be. "With Sheryl Crow we have chests, paintings, coffee tables, some we have already sold."
Each room is filled to the brim with items you certainly can't find just anywhere. Take, for instance, a gorgeous antique baby grand that belongs to Martina McBride.
Because McBride is currently remodeling her home, a good majority of the stuff here belongs to the country super star.
"We have her billiard table, sofa, bed, chase, darlin castle bed in children's room and loads of things from kitchen."
If some of the items give you sticker shock, don't be afraid to bargain.
It seems the stars are willing to negotiate.
"Martina is on road, in NY and she said if I call her and give her bids she will make a decision if she wants to sell it at that price or hold out till the end."
It's a Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow or Blair Garner fans dream come true. "One girl came in yesterday and said I just want something of Martinas. I am in her fan club I just love her, I respect her, look up to her and people say that about Sheryl crow."
While the sale will leave many fans smiling, the real purpose is raising m oney.
A portion of sales will go to either "The House of Jade" or Martina's favorite organization, "Love is Respect." "You can do two things .. you can get something wonderful from these stars and can do good with portion of money so it makes really good sense."
The sales started Wednesday and lasts until Sunday. You can stop by anytime between 8am and 5pm.Celebrity Auction-Stacy McCloud
