Zombieland-Stacy McCloud

We have a zombie alert this Friday.

"Zombieland" hits theaters and one of the living dead in that movie lives right here in Middle Tennessee.

Sydnie Dawson is only 6 1/2 years old, but already the young actress has one heck of a resume that includes some small roles in two big films.

Sydnie syas, "I had to put make up on as soon as I got there then they asked if I wanted to wear contacts and I said yes and it didn't even hurt. They didn't hurt? No? it looks like they hurt? No they didn't, hahaha."

The first grader was selected to be one of a handful of child zombies, running
around terrorizing the living.

"First I had to bang on the van, like this, really hard! Then I was chasing the van. We were chasing things, banging on a tent, they were chasing girls and on one set I had to chase almost all the way around this house chasing a girl."

Sydnie, who lives in Manchester, says she knew from the second she auditioned she landed the part.

"The guy shook my hand and said good job and I knew I was gonna be in the movie."

And says she wasn't one bit nervous to be on such a big movie set.

Cameras are nothing new to Sydnie.

She is featured in a number of print ads, walked the runway, been an extra in tv shows and even had a small role in the Hannah Montana movie.

"I was running around a picnic table in Hannah Montana and I got to meet Jackson."

So far, Zombieland has been her favorite.

But Sydnie has bigger goals and a message for her favorite actress of all time.

"I know you Nicole Kidman. I like your movies and I wanna be in one Nicole."

Sydnie is signed to three agencies, the latest being Ford.

As for the movie, it's not a kids movie.
