Garth Brooks Plans Las Vegas Shows-Stacy McCloud

A day after country music superstar Garth Brooks steps out of retirement.

He's busy making plans to start his regular show in Vegas.

Brooks sold over 128 million albums, sold out stadiums and arenas worldwide-and now has the hottest ticket in Las Vegas.

Brooks says he had no plans to come out of retirement anytime soon.

But Wynn Resort CEO Steven Wynn won Garth over.

Wynn says, "I spoke to his manager and asked if I could speak to him he said well Garth is retired you may just be wasting your time I said I just want to talk to him."

Brooks says, "I told him it was sweet but he couldn't afford me .. I was wrong!!"

Dollar signs didn't seal the deal- it was Wynn dealing the family card.

He says, "If one of my girls called me and says 'Daddy I change my mind I don't want you to do it.' I would say enjoy your dinner I am so sorry you came all the way out here. I am gone."

His wife, Trisha Yearwood, says, "
Everytime we said we can't do this we can't make this work, Mr. Wynn came back with a way to make it work and I think that was a testament to him really wanting this to happen for right reasons."

Starting December 11, Garth has committed to 15 weekends a year for the next 5 years, and the format will be as simple as he is.

Just Garth and a guitar.

And Garth says the best part of the show is that no two will ever be alike.

One day his wife may jump on stage, another he may bring along his band.

He says, "I don't know if you saw hangover but that will be us playing some music having some fun."

Neither Wynn nor Brooks would talk about how much this deal is worth, only that Wynn did buy Garth a jet for travel, that he gets to keep after the five year deal.

Wynn says, "My guess is word will go around that forget if you like country, don't like country you just wanna go see Garth cause I think he is that big .. don't you."

Tickets go on sale next Saturday, October 24 at 8am for the first five weekends.
