TBI Hunts for Violent Burglar

The TBI needs your help tracking down a fugitive it says is a one man crime spree.
Marquis Tanner was born in 1979 but the TBI says he's packed some hard living in his less than three decades.
“In 1999 he was charged with shooting somebody not once but six times and he served hard prison time for that."
Tanner was out on parole earlier this year when he began what can only be described as a full-fledged crime spree.
In May, Clarksville police say he robbed a man at gunpoint at the Minit Mart at Crossland and Greenwood Avenues.
In November, detectives say he broke into an apartment on Stateline road near Fort Campbell and made off with $3,000 worth of stuff and a late model dodge.
And later that same day, police say Tanner burglarized the home of a 72-year-old woman on Timber Court Drive.
“Large amounts of stolen property: pars, silver he has been known to take. This guy is not afraid at all to break into somebody's house"
In addition to his two earrings, Marquis Tanner sports a collection of tattoos that could help the TBI catch him.
He has praying hands on his right arm with "shadow" written above it and "my pain'' underneath.
On his left arm is a cross with "south written above it and "quis" underneath it.
Marquis Tanner was born in 1979.
He has black hair and brown eyes, is 5'10” and about 155-pounds.
