TBI Most Wanted for 2-23-08

The TBI is turning up the heat on sex offenders. And tonight we need your help to bring an alleged child sex offender to justice.
The TBI calls Abdul Rashid Almohomedi a man of many faces, one of the worst of the worst.

“Metro has warrants out for his arrest -- 2 counts of rape of a child and 2 counts of sexual battery."

TBI spokeswoman Kristin Helm says Almohomedi has no prior criminal history. At the time of his arrest he was working as a package shipper at dell computer. The little girl he's accused of molesting was in the 3rd grade.

“The victim was a female relative of his who was about 9-years-old when the abuse began. She eventually told her mother in late 2003 and then police. He was charged in 2004, had a court date to appear in 2005 and hasn't been seen since."

Almohomedi's last known address is on Hill View Heights in South Nashville but that was in 2005. He has relatives here in Nashville and in Toledo, Ohio but authorities have no idea where he is now.
