Puppy Survives Being Shot in the Face - Flint Adam
An East Nashville man is behind bars tonight, and a family pet is recovering from a bullet wound to the face.
Metro Police say 40 year-old William Taylor was drunk and possibly high on crack-cocaine when he began firing shots at his Pannock Avenue home early Sunday morning.
Inside was his wife, a grandchild, and the family's two-month old pit bull -- Midnight.
A bullet hit the pup just below it's right eye, exiting near its chin.
Miraculously, the dog not only survived, but Metro Animal Control says she'll have a quick and full recovery.
