Lineweaver Fights to Repair Reputation- Erika Lathon
Juvenile Court Clerk Vic Lineweaver is turning to the courts to clear his name and reputation.
Last year Lineweaver was held in contempt and arrested after his office failed to locate missing court files.
On Tuesday Lineweaver's attorney filed a motion to have Juvenile Court Judge Betty Adams Green removed from the case.
Defense attorney James Stranch says the contempt charge should never have been filed because the files were located.
Ironically, Judge Green's office initially had trouble locating all the paperwork for Lineweaver's hearing on Tuesday.
Judge Green has agreed to remove herself from the case and plans to ask the court's administrative office to appoint a special judge.
