In Gallatin, concerned residents want something to be done about a house where a woman died in a fire nine months ago.
They say the home is an eyesore and a daily reminder of the tragedy.
Neighbors on Orleans Court East are also worried about health hazards, snakes and other critters moving into the area.
They say it doesn't seem like anyone in the city or the county is working to resolve the problem.
The Sumner County planning department tells Fox 17 News it's taken this long to track down an owner since the house has gone in to foreclosure.
Since the home is considered secure, it will not be demolished.
Neighbors can expect to see a For Sale sign in the front yard next week.
