19-Year-Old Shot and Robbed
A 19-year-old is hospitalized after being shot and robbed in east Nashville.
Metro police Captain Randy Hickerson said the incident happened around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Summer Place.
Hickerson said the suspects robbed the man then shot him.
A description of the suspects were not provided. It's also not clear if the victim and the suspects knew each other.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition, but is expected to recover.
Investigators are working to piece together what exactly happened. Hickerson said police also found drugs on the scene.
