Metro Police conducted a knock-and-talk at a an Antioch home after a tip that marijuana was being grown there.
The resident, 61-year-old Travis McMiller, was arrested after authorities yesterday found 49 marijuana plants in a grow room with heat lights, and watering and filtration systems at a home on Pineorchard Place, according to police. An ounce of processed marijuana and three packages containing marijuana seeds was also found.
McMiller is in Davidson County Jail on $6,000 bond.

Route 25 reopened after rockslide cleared

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A rockslide in Smith County has been cleared three days ahead of schedule, allowing TDOT to reopen state Rt. 25 at the Cumberland River Overlook at Carthage.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said repaving work was competed Tuesday afternoon and the road was reopened to traffic.
Both lanes of the highway were blocked by a slide that occurred on May 9.
