"Not that I'm Mr. US NEWS and WORLD REPORT up on everything, but I had no idea until I had read the script and then I read the WIRED article on which the script is based," says John Goodman.
"I read this story and thought, I kept going back true story, okay," says Bryan Cranston. "Because what I'm reading here is bizarre and if it was just written as a fiction people would go get out, c'mon, it's, no one's gonna believe that. That's what makes the story all the more gripping is that, what a daring, daring venture."
Directing only his 2nd feature film, star Ben Affleck says the story had to be streamlined for the big screen.
"The truth is often unwieldy and all over the place so it needed to be sculpted," says Affleck. "It's not a docu-drama obviously, it's a feature. I had to maintain the integrity of the truth but I also had to make it watchable and fun and exciting."
Since the details of the rescue weren't made public until the 1990s, we asked the stars which moments in history they'd like to see declassified.
"I would wanna know exactly what state the moon landing happened in because it of course never happened," says Cranston. "No. I'm not one of those. I know."
"I still think there's something about the Kennedy assassination that we don't know, although I know that's like the usual crazy conspirator myth."

Tenn. Powerball ticket worth $1 million

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Powerball ticket sold in Tennessee barely missed winning a share of an estimated $590.5 million prize. But the ticket has a nice consolation prize worth $1 million.
Officials say the Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Chattanooga.
There's no word yet on who won.
A Powerball ticket sold at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, Fla., matched all six numbers selected Saturday night for the estimated $590.5 million prize. It's the highest Powerball jackpot in history.
The winning numbers were 10, 13, 14, 22 and 52, with a Powerball of 11.
