TBI says it is continuing to exhaust every possible lead in hopes of giving this family some closure.
More than 30 members of a TEMA search crew filed through the brush around this rover community home... Hoping something will lead them to 7 year old Gage Daniel and 9 year old Chloie Pope.
Both have not been seen since a fire destroyed their home killing their grandparents Molly and Leon McClaran.
Mary Lame, sister of the grandfather says, “Those were two happy little children who played in this country little setting and we miss them and we want them back.”
TBI agents say they are continuing to follow up on leads as if the children are missing and in danger....
Jason Locke says, “The fact of the matter is that we did find remains of the grandparents there which would you know lead one to believe that there should be some sort of remains of the children and we have just not been able to find that at this point.”
Friday the search went nationwide as the TBI issued an amber alert for Chloie and Gage... Family members say they find some comfort in knowing the search continues to grow for their loved ones.
Mary Lame says, “That is what we want - we want it spread so that everybody will know and look for the children.”
Mary McClain says the thought of two children missing who went to school with her little boy is devastating.
Mary McClain says, “I feel really heart broken about these children – I am doing it for them because if it was my own kids I would want somebody to come together and try to find them and bring them back home.”
TBI says they are doing everything can to make that happen.
Jason Locke says, “We are going to try to check every absolute possibility that there is out there to try to put this thing at some sort of closure for the family.”
TBI says that they have not set a date to stop the searches, they plan to continue until the children are found.
At this time TBI says there is still no cause for the fire and they are continuing to interview family members - they say the entire family has cooperated with the investigation.

Houston brother will be his own attorney in court
June 18, 2013 13:02 GMT
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Roane County man will face federal gun violation charges next month without an attorney.
The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/17VlXpM ) reported Rocky Joe Houston will represent himself on a charge of possession of a gun by a felon.
The charge came after Houston earlier represented himself in state court on charges stemming from a police chase. He was convicted of evading arrest and reckless endangerment.
Houston and his brother, Leon Houston, were tried, but not convicted, in the 2006 shooting deaths of a Roane County deputy and his ride-along companion.
In federal court, Rocky Joe Houston is claiming the officer who charged him with the felony had no legal authority.
