Fox 17 News told you about the inspirational story of two brothers from White House Tennessee last year. Now the whole nation knows how great Conner and Cayden Long really are. The 9 and 7 year old brothers were named Sports Illustrated Kids Sportskid of the Year. Conner takes part in triathlons and Cayden is right by his side. Cayden has Cerebral Palsy and does not speak. Conner did not want to leave his little brother out, so Conner runs, swims and bikes with Cayden right along with him. Conner and Cayden picture will be on the cover of the December issue of Sports Illustrated Kids.

Route 25 reopened after rockslide cleared

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A rockslide in Smith County has been cleared three days ahead of schedule, allowing TDOT to reopen state Rt. 25 at the Cumberland River Overlook at Carthage.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said repaving work was competed Tuesday afternoon and the road was reopened to traffic.
Both lanes of the highway were blocked by a slide that occurred on May 9.
