Last week a man was traveling in his truck on I24 West when his driver side window mysteriously shattered. The man was traveling between mile markers nine and ten when the event occurred. He told Clarksville Police he did not see anyone along the interstate when it happened. Just this morning a similar incident occurred to 69 year old women, whose window is pictured above. She reported to police that heard a popping sound before the driver side window shattered. Officers searched her vehicle, inside and out, for evidence of a projectile but were not able to find anything.
Clarksville Police and other organizations searched the area around the interstate but were unsuccessful in finding any evidence.
Clarksville Police want all drivers to aware of these incidents and to be on the look for anything suspicious in the area. Spokesman Jim Knoll said “There is nothing to indicate intentional acts associated with either incident and officers will be keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity occurring in the area.”
