WBFF Fox 45 :: CLASH ON THE CUMBERLAND: What's on the Titans Players' Ipods?
Sports and entertainment are often intermixed, and the music world plays a big role in the Titans' week. When it's time to get suited up at game time, many players reach for their shoulder pads, helmets, and Ipod for musical motivation! Before the Titans run out of the tunnel, many run their fingers through their music library as they search for just the right tune to pump them up for kickoff.

"I listen to Lil' Wayne all the time," says Chris Johnson. "My favorite artist. Get me motivated, get me crunked, get me ready to go."

Linebacker Akeem Ayers has more than one artist on his Ipod.

"I like to listen to Kanye West, Jay-Z," says Ayers. "A little bit of all."

Ayers will even slow things down at times.

"Sometimes I feel a little too...calm me down," says Ayers.

"My jams are a little bit different than most people's jams," says Damian Williams.

Williams' favorite artists are Donnie McClurkin and Fred Hammond.

"I don't get to go to church on Sundays, so that's my morning ritual," says Williams. "I listen to gospel music on Sunday mornings."

Hammond's hit "No Weapon" is the last song Williams listens to before he goes on the field.

"That's just my way of getting my worship in and hopefully God protects me on the field," says Williams.CLASH ON THE CUMBERLAND: What's on the Titans Players' Ipods?

Trial begins in international custody case
May 21, 2013 08:06 GMT

By SHEILA BURKE Associated Press

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A trial begins Tuesday that could determine which country will decide the fate of 13-year-old twin boys at the center of an international custody battle that extends from Eastern Europe to Middle Tennessee.

The boys are American citizens who were born in Texas but have spent the majority of their lives in Hungary. Their father is an American citizen with family in the Cottontown community of Sumner County. Their mother, a Romanian national, has invoked an international treaty claiming the children are being wrongfully retained in Tennessee by their father.

The boys came to Tennessee last year to visit their paternal grandparents in Sumner County for the summer. The father, who was supposed to bring them back to Europe, stayed in the U.S. and filed for divorce.
