The largest country music festival has named its first set of artist for the 2013 event. Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, and Carrie Underwood are set to play throughout the four day event. This years festival begins June 6th and runs through the 9th.
"What an exciting lineup - and we are just getting started," said Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer. "Ticket sales are stronger than ever and we are always researching and developing ways to enhance the Festival experience for our attendees and the artists who continue this time-honored tradition of giving back to the fans."
Last year more than 450 artist took part in the four day festival performing more than 200 hours of live music. A record 71,000 fans from all 50 states and 24 different countries embarked on Nashville.
Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster.

Man charged with faking marriage to visit inmate

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- Washington County authorities say a man faked a marriage certificate so he could visit a woman held in the Johnson City Detention Facility.
The Johnson City Press (http://bit.ly/14QBr9L ) reports investigators discovered the ruse after the May 14 visit by 32-year-old Robert S. Hicks of Elizabethton. Hicks was arrested Tuesday on a charge of criminal simulation. He was jailed at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond, pending a court appearance Wednesday.
