A commercial mowing company employee is at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after being run over by a tractor on the right-of-way along US 41 in Christian County, Kentucky late Wednesday.
The 40-year-old was part of a contract mowing crew working for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet along US 41 near Pembroke. Transportation officials say details are sketchy, but employees of Double-G Mowing, a Tennessee based company, indicated that the man either tripped or fell beneath a tractor as it drove past where he was talking to another employee.
Transportation Cabinet safety personnel plan to gather additional information on the incident on Thursday.

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
