Cami was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma this past spring. But even with four rounds of treatments and having to shave her head, Cami has maintained a remarkable attitude.
The Leukemia and Lymphona Society wanted to reward Cami's bravery and make at least one day a little brighter. So together with the Grand Ole Opry and Darius Rucker - she got the ultimate VIP treatment.
Cami got her own dressing room - and Darius himself gave her a backstage tour.
When it was showtime, Cami got to hang out with Darius side stage. Then when Daruis started singing, she got to watch with her family from a special area back stage. Darius even mentioned Cami during his set.
Cami says she is used to hearing Darius during her cancer treatments. He's one of several artists loaded onto her ipod.
Getting to hear Rucker like this is a much different experience - one that's allowed this remarkable little girl to smile bigger than she had in a really long time.
