HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky - Congressman Ed Whitfield (R-KY 1st District) of southern Kentucky says he doesn't think there's going to be any last minute deals this time. The budget cuts are going to occur and people will feel it. He also says he feels like members of Congress don't really know or trust each other, so the big decisions can't get done.
"There's not any socializing today or very little because of time constraints, so you don't have this comradery of each other, so we end up debating complex issues with different geographical areas and you don't have this knowledge of each other or trust in each other," says Representative Whitfield.

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
