The folks at Summit Hospital will remember this day for another reason, one family in particular. Melissa Sewell delivered little James Corbin on this day by design. In addition to being easy for dad to remember,r she says the numbers have special meaning for her family.
"They equal to 36, which is my dad's old football number, so I thought that was lucky and kinda cool, so," says new mother Melissa Sewell.
No bride or groom ever wants to forget their anniversary and John and Corinna Fitch figured getting married on a day like this was insurance. They tied the knot outside the Chamber of Commerce Office in Gallatin. They sealed it with a kiss to remember, joining the Edwards' on a walk together that began on a day that will be impossible to forget. Across the country, hundreds of couples tied the knot today. Las Vegas saw 10 times its normal number of weddings. This day will also be remembered as the day Pope Benedict sent his first Tweet.

Tenn. Powerball ticket worth $1 million

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Powerball ticket sold in Tennessee barely missed winning a share of an estimated $590.5 million prize. But the ticket has a nice consolation prize worth $1 million.
Officials say the Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Chattanooga.
There's no word yet on who won.
A Powerball ticket sold at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, Fla., matched all six numbers selected Saturday night for the estimated $590.5 million prize. It's the highest Powerball jackpot in history.
The winning numbers were 10, 13, 14, 22 and 52, with a Powerball of 11.
